Shirin Ansari, Ph. D.
is
the founder of The Center for Learning and has an extensive
background in educational settings as a former Resource
Specialist and School Psychologist. As a clinical
psychologist, Dr. Ansari’s emphasis is in
neuropsychology and she has developed expertise in the
latest research-based techniques for the treatment of
learning difficulties, processing disorders, and
language issues.

of Dr. Ansari

Greg Koch, Ph.D. is the
Clinical Director of Services at the Center for
Learning. Dr. Koch is a licensed psychologist
who joined the center staff in the fall of 2002. He
received his doctoral degree in 2000, when he was also
presented with the Outstanding Doctor of Philosophy
Award from Alliant International University. In addition
to his focus on neuropsychological and psychological
assessment, he is a child and adolescent therapist and
has 15 years of experience as a high school teacher.

Roberta Knox, Psy. D. a licensed Marriage and Family
Therapist, received her Master's Degree in 1983 in
Community/Clinical Psychology and her
Doctorate in Psychology in 2002. Dr. Knox works with
adults, adolescents, children, families, and couples in
therapy. Her diverse experience includes providing
psychotherapy to college students on campus, co-leading
therapy groups, providing court-ordered individual psychotherapy,
and divorce mediation. She attained a specialization
certificate in psychological assessment through her
doctoral program. We are proud to have Dr. Knox as an
integral part of the Center for Learning staff.
Diana
Karjoo, Ph.D.
Clinical Psychologist. We are pleased to welcome Dr.
Karjoo as a new member of our staff. She is certified as
a Domestic Violence Counselor and has worked with court
appointed individual victims of domestic violence. She
holds certificates in forensic psychology and in
psychological assessment through her doctoral program.
Her area of expertise is in issues of mid-life crisis
and the family. Her vast experience as manager of
psychological interns will also be an invaluable asset
to the Center for Learning.
